Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing credit assistance. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and, where credit information is involved, Part IIIA of the Privacy Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.

What We Collect

Through the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address and anything you choose to tell us about your situation. If you engage us to assist with a loan application we will collect what a lender requires: identity documents, income and employment details, assets and liabilities, and credit information obtained with your consent.

Why We Collect It

To respond to your enquiry, to assess which loans and lenders may suit you, to lodge and manage applications you have authorised, and to meet our legal obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 and anti-money-laundering law.

Who We Share It With

Only as needed to do the job: lenders and lenders mortgage insurers you authorise us to approach, valuers, our aggregator and its compliance systems, and government bodies where the law requires. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with marketers.

How We Store and Protect It

Information is stored in access-controlled systems. We keep it only as long as the law requires records of credit assistance to be kept, then destroy or de-identify it.

Access, Correction and Complaints

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. If you believe we have mishandled your information, complain to us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

This Website

This site does not use third-party advertising trackers. The map on some pages is loaded from OpenStreetMap when you scroll to it, which involves your browser requesting tiles from their servers. Form submissions travel over HTTPS.
